Super Silver Haze, also known as “SSH” or “SS Haze,” is a sativa dominant hybrid strain (80% sativa/20% indica) created through crossing the infamous Skunk X Northern Lights X Haze strains. This stuff is impressive. I see why it won so many cups. It looked ok, like something you’d expect to see that potent, but nothing special. It smelled like something affective, but again, nothing special. It tasted rather bland, like something slight burnt without much flavor. The high though, my god. One hitter quiter. It had me turned up in no time, but it seems to be potent enough to confuse my focus for a bit too. It’s a long lasting high as well. While I wasn’t pleased with the aesthetics, this bud gets my highest rating as a sativa.

Very very sticky. Soft, dense nuggets. This was freshly put in this morning so its good. Very sweet, smells similar to pineapple. Rich green color, with an abundance of crystals and hairs. Breathing out left a surprisingly earthy taste, but still smelled very sugary; overall very smooth hits. Very strong head high, 1 bowl of this and I started to forget about my body and could only feel the weight of my head on my neck. This isn’t a bad thing, but its clearly a sativa. Very good feels so far, very giggly in the sense of I have a smile stuck to my face so I am definitely liking this strain. Good for a pretty sane day, I don’t know how well I am at getting a ton of things done at the moment, but it’s not hindering me to function at all. Though I must say, my joint pains have not really gone away, of course I ignore them a bit better but it is defiantly no Granddaddy Purple (I mean duh) in that realm. Still, if you are looking for a really really strong sativa, this is what you should be looking for Also look for Pineapple Super Silver Haze, very good as well. I give this an A

This is a top 3 sativa for me (next to Strawberry Cough and Jack Herer). I treat depression and anxiety, and like other reviewers, I find that this strain features a great, long lasting body high, alongside clearheaded mental uplift. It is happy and energetic, but calm and focused, too. There are some mild visual effects and it is pretty potent; from a bowl, I’d expect 3ish hours at least. It is less racy than a typical sativa, and for a seasoned user, I think this is a great choice for a daytime med. If you’re looking for something to treat depression and anxiety, this is definitely worth a try. It is calming, but uplifting, and for a sativa the body high cannot be beat. Def recommended.

Super Silver Haze…. Ahh, what can I say: One of the BEST sativas out there, absolutely a MUST for Sativa fans. Really uplifting, makes you happy, energetic, friendly and all you’ll want to do is party\go out for a walk\talk to friends or sit for a good meal! It’s a really depression-killer and great anti-stress medication Also pretty good for pain relief.

Feeling lethargic and unable to focus? Vape some super silver haze and you’ll complete your work in record time. Phenomenal strain. At first it makes me tired, but after 15 minutes I’m level headed and focused on whatever I need to do. As a side note, this is the first strain that I haven’t grown tolerant to. Usually after the first few grams of any strain, I start feeling exhausted and confused the moment I medicate, but this strain has stayed true throughout my experiences with it.

SSH is a classic, hard-hitting, Amsterdam smelling, haze sativa. Haze is almost an entire branch of Sativa genetics of its’ own – instead of the ‘speed and tight head’ feeling of a pure sativa like Durban Poison, Haze genetics tend to produce an uplifting/soaring/euphoric high rising from the chest. Wonderful daytime smoke with no crash and immediate effects that continue building long after you’ve smoked; paranoia and excess energy are common, but sativa smokers know that going into it … it’s almost part of the quality of the high. The sample I currently have has the typical light-green/grey/silver look that you’d expect, with a healthy coating of trichomes – giving it a frosted silvery look. Lots of kief which is evident upon grinding – the herb looks even more white/silvery when ground. The smell of the ground herb is a sandlewood-spice type smell with a little bit of flowery/citrus undertones – but generally that spicy-greeny smell that all good Haze tends to have (no skunk, cheese, fuel, kush, pineapple, etc.). The smoke burns quickly and pops immediately in the lungs – you can feel the THC hit the lungs, travel to the brain/bloodstream, and down the legs before you even blow the hit our. It leaves you with a really uplifting, rising/building high that feels like the first waves of LSD … even breathing feels good, your nose might run a bit, you feel alert and energized from your chest to your brain. The smell/taste when smoked is hashy and spicy – fairly easy on the throat but expansive in the lungs … leaving a sandlewood-hash type taste on the tongue. The high lasts 2+ hrs for me off of less than .5g – and I’m an everyday smoker! Strong shit!

This strain is a complete mood changer for me. It is very effective when I have overwhelming PMS symptoms and feel like I am about to turn into the hulk on somebody. Instead, I grab some wonderful super silver haze and go about my business in a much more positive, uplifted state of mind. One of my top favorites!

I’ve got to say —this strain has given me a whole new outlook on life and such inspiration throughout the day. Super Silver haze completely eases my chronic fatigue and depressive symptoms almost instantly, and almost “cures” my Inattentive ADHD days after not even smoking at all —and not even taking stimulants. Very effective for people suffering with this conditions and related symptoms. This is true medicine!!

Super Silver Haze is one of my favorite strains. Most sativas always leave me wanting just a little more of that “stone” that I love from indicas, and Super Silver Haze is potent enough to knock my on my ass stoned but still give me a ton of energy to get whatever I need done. If you doubt the power of this sativa a smoke it before bed you will definitely be sorry, or maybe just up all night giggling at some cartoons or late night infomercials. Check out Highland Health, whoever their grower is does an amazing job flushing, nothing but that beautiful herb taste, but could step up his game on curing, other then that, beautiful!

Super silver haze: my miracle strain. i know this review will be a bit lengthy, but it’s worth the read. I promise. This is my story of how I finally found my perfect strain. I hope someone finds this review very helpful someday. But anyway this is my story. I’m a 28 year old woman who has suffered for the last five years with absolutely crippling and debilitating chronic pain, chronic fatigue, as well as several other medical conditions, including severe depression/bipolar disorder. After years on very high doses of opioid painkillers, my pain management doctor was able to get me a medical marijuana card. I got it this past November, and I’ve been exploring with different strains since then. I’ve loved every one that I’ve tried so far, but the only problem I had was that each strain only treated one or two of my issues while not really being helpful to the others. I was searching high and low for the perfect strain that would treat it all. I knew that it was all about trial and error, so I wasn’t about to give up. Then one day about two weeks ago I was looking through my local dispensaries website at the different strains they had. I saw super silver haze and it just kind of stuck out to me, which was surprising because I usually prefer indicas (because they help with my severe chronic insomnia). The only problem with indicas is that they make you so relaxed that you melt into the couch. that’s why they’re good for sleep. But I needed something that I could use for the daytime that would not only kill the pain, but give me more energy, boost my creativity and production. I was skeptical at first about trying a new sativa, but I went for it anyway and bought myself a gram. One bowl smoked and I felt like I was on cloud nine. It almost instantly gave me energy, made me feel uplifted, no paranoia or anxiety, no fatigue….but most importantly: it killed the pain. I finally found the strain for me. It was such an amazing feeling, to find a strain that would relieve all of my symptoms and help improve my quality of life, while not sedating me or causing cognitive impairment, was one of the most amazing feelings in my life. I literally cried tears of joy. A complete rush of calmness and euphoria are very prominent in this strain, more than any other strain I’ve tried. The euphoric painkilling effect you get from taking narcotics doesn’t come close to this. Initially it made me a tiny bit dizzy, but it doesn’t make me drowsy or dull my energy. I am also taking a considerable amount less of opioids since finding this strain, which is incredible because I’ve spent the last five years needing to take opioids every single day. Just before finding this strain, I had literally given up. The opioids were just not helping anymore, I couldn’t work, I could barely do anything. I was very close to suicide a few times out of sheer hopelessness. Now I feel like a totally new person, and definitely in a good way. Bottom line: this strain saved my life. To anyone out there who is severely ill and has not yet tried it, I highly recommend it. I know we are all different and we all respond to things in our own way, but who knows? Super Silver Haze is by far the best day-time smoke….EVER. It’s beautiful. Take 2 hits of proper grown S.S.H. and you just took 2 shots of espresso. Very nice sativa high with a little body in shoulders and upper body. But you want to get up and go. DO SOMETHING!!!!!! Simply a TOP 5 Strain. Period.

Super Silver Haze has truly never let me down, this is definitely an amazing Sativa, with an AMAZING taste and smell. The high is an amazing full blown Sativa effects along with a very very nice body high. Definitely recommend it for Depression, Anxiety, Spasms, Pain, even Insomnia. Yes it’s a Sativa but smoke enough and you’ll be happily hazed over! The triple cross of Haze, Skunk & Northern Lights is just insane yet amazing definitely a must try if your a new toker!

Migraine pain comin on; nausea 6-7 when I medicated round 1830 or so. Takes bout 5-10 min to start working. Pain/nausea gone. No anxiety/paranoia (a must for me); very nice for a Sativa dominant. Head high energetic; awesome stoner sex with hubby! Body high exactly what I needed. Almost could not fall asleep; would not recommend for late afternoon/evening use. One of my favs for sure! Highly recommend for daytime use for pain/nausea! 🙂
